Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Place melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt into a large bowl.
- Mix until well combined. Set aside.
- Gently toss apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and vanilla together until well combined.
- Pour into prepared baking dish and spread out into an even layer.
- Crumble the topping evenly over the apples.
- Sprinkle turbinado sugar over the top.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the filling has thickened and the topping is cooked.
- Cool for 15 minutes in the pan before scooping and serving with vanilla ice cream!
