Simple Shredded Romaine Salad with Dill​​

Ingredients
  • 6 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • ¾ cup chopped fresh dill
  • ½ cup thinly sliced scallions
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey (or more to taste)

Preparation
  • In a large bowl mix the romaine, dill, and scallions. Sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl or jar with a lid, combine garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and sweetener (if using). Whisk or shake to combine.
  • Add dressing to the greens and toss well to coat. Serve immediately.
